St. Dominic’s Fair is one of the largest open-air trade and cultural annual events in Poland. It’s also one of the largest in this kind events in Europe, attracting approximately 7 million visitors. St. Dominic’s Fair can be proud of its heritage and a seven hundred fifty years of tradition. Its origins date back to 1260 when the Pope Alexander IV established the fair. Nowadays the St. Dominic’s Fair recalls the Medieval tradition, so you can enjoy more than thousands colourful stalls lined along several streets in the centre of the Old Town, watch shows by masters of artistic metalwork, or take part in many cultural events and urban games.
